A single Council sets the philosophy and principles, and the organizations responsible for transmission and research, international cooperation and business work together, each grounded in its own expertise and responsibility.

To keep the essence of tradition while answering the changes of the times with openness, and to connect different roles through one shared purpose — this is the basic spirit of SOOM Civilization governance.

SOOM Civilization carries on the spirit of Kouksundo Bakdol-beop, said by tradition to have roots reaching back 9,800 years, and seeks to unfold its wisdom anew through today’s language and education, research, technology and culture.

When the depth of tradition and modern practice are in harmony, and the roles and responsibilities of each organization come together in one direction, SOOM Civilization can grow into a sustainable civilizational movement in dialogue with the world.

   The highest decision-making body, which safeguards the philosophy and charter of SOOM Civilization, the authenticity of its Way and its shared values, and decides and oversees the basic direction and key policies of the whole organization.

   World Culture Open (WCO)

   WORLD CULTURE OPEN (WCO)

   An organization that shares the culture of breath and the values of SOOM Civilization with the world, and advances international exchange and cooperation linking nations and regions, and the growth of a global network.

   Heritage Committee

   HERITAGE COMMITTEE

   A body devoted to preserving the transmitted original form of Kouksundo Bakdol-beop and the teachings of Grandmaster Cheongsan, so that their spirit and lineage are rightly carried on as a precious cultural heritage of humanity.

   Kouksundo World Federation

   KOUKSUNDO WORLD FEDERATION

   An academic research organization that studies the philosophy and principles of Kouksundo and Bakdol-beop and related fields, and widens dialogue between traditional wisdom and modern scholarship through academic presentations, forums and research exchange.

   BLUEMONT INC.

   A business organization that connects the philosophy and the educational and cultural value of SOOM Civilization to sustainable enterprise, and drives digital platforms, content, services and business partnerships in Korea and abroad.

   SOOM CIVILIZATION RESEARCH INSTITUTE

   A research and publishing organization that studies and organizes the thought and culture, historical transmission and records embodied in Kouksundo Bakdol-beop, and shares their spiritual and cultural value widely through books, publications and a range of cultural content.
